Westgate Entertainment District
Westgate Entertainment District, formerly known as "Westgate City Center" is a mixed-use development in Glendale, Arizona. Westgate is described as a super-regional destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and commercial offices. Funded by millionaire New York architect Ron Elsensohn and anchored by the Gila River Arena, home of the NHL team the Arizona Coyotes, the complex has 8,000,000 sq ft (740,000 m2) of retail space and is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region, attracting over 22 million visitors annually. In 2011, the property went into foreclosure and reverted to lenders. The shopping center was reopened under the name Westgate Entertainment District, operated by Vestar Capital Partners, which also manages other properties in the Phoenix area.Using our international travel planner, Glendale attractions like Westgate Entertainment District can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

We stayed at a nearby hotel For the Fiesta Bowl game and walked to the Westgate Entertainment District. There are many restaurants to choose from and they had a live band playing as well. Fun free... more »

Westgate is pretty righteous. If you are looking for a meal, snack, romantic date, or dessert this is the place. Most weekend nights there is live music of all varieties and on weekends with no games you are very likely to find a bike night. If you want to just hang out and talk there is a 'grassy' area with tables and benches where you can enjoy you dessert! There are so many types of savory and sweet restaurants. I recommend the Yard House, there happy hour is a great deal and their food is superb.

The center of everything. Definitely a young happening place. Always busy, always fun. Tons of stuff to do and some of the best food around. You can come and just walk around. Good views and people to talk to. Tons of parking.

You'll never run out of options. Eat, drink or even take the kids to make pottery or plates and let them cool off at the water spouts where they have live music. Great place for family, to catch a movie or have a night out with friends!

A nice, clean place (you can actually use the public restrooms without fear) with a lot to offer visually. Every time I come back it seems like there's some kind of event going on, too. There's also TONS of restaurants. July might be too hot for some extended wandering around outside, but there's misters and a nice little frozen yogurt place if you need to cool down. The only con is that it's less of an "entertainment district" and more of a giant food court with a couple of cool things to do-- like an Escape Room, for example.

Went to the Japanese restaurant there in West Gate called Kabuki and the food was amazing...ig you haven't been you need to check this place out. Prices are good and the cooks are excellent. You have got to check this place out you will not be disappointed
