  • One of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world with its hillsides, landscapes, buildings, & museums. Growing up in Sun Valley near by, my father would bring us here in the 60's & 70's as kids. When he passed away in 1983. There was no question where to bury him for his resting place. The Great Masoleum is where many of the famous entertainers are buried. But, much of the mausoleum is private and not open to the public. You can spend the whole day here visiting without any cost. The grounds are immaculately kept and the settings European. The staff are accommodating and courteous. Great place to visit & the view of the San Fernando Valley & Los Angeles is breathtaking.
  • The most beautiful cemetery I've ever seen. I also saw Michael Jackson's grave today. Very beautiful.
  • It's a beautiful place to pay your respects to some Hollywood's finest talent. Please make a point to visit the Great Mausoleum. It has some of the finest architecture I have ever seen.
  • Well... My Father, Fortunato Sonetto, gave his life...was killed near Burgundy...after the Battle of the Bulge, World War II. He is buried there...at the Glendale Forest Lawn...in Serenity Section...down at the Bottom of a Hill. The Hill is behind the place up top where there is a marvelous, life-size replica of Michaelangelo's DAVID. A beautiful cemetery because there are no statues at graves. Just...ground plaques which do not interfere with the panoramic flow of the terrain. I carry Forest Lawn in my heart. Rick (Sonetto) Mancuso, Providence
  • Outstanding grounds and layout. Fantastic view of the valley.
