  • This place is so cool. A must if you have kids and passing through or live close. If you are visiting Dinosaur Valley stop here too. Free city park right next to Paluxy river and the city dam. Has par...  more »
  • Water was low when we went. Lots of fun to see stuff you normally can't during the wetter season. Did some fishing and swimming.  more »
  • This was such a neat experience. Pictures of this place do not do justice to the size of these rocks. My kids enjoyed climbing all over the rocks. It can be a bit difficult to maneuver around and over...  more »

  • Very unique place! Lots of fun to play in the water, but bring water shoes, the rocks in the river are very slippery! We had lots of fun, but if you are going when it's very hot, bring shade! There is almost none there. Very neat the city provides this free! Check it out!
  • We drive nearly an hour to visit this park. It's beautiful when the water is running, and it feels so good to float just over the rocks. The kids love to climb the rocks and explore the crevices between. Yes, you may see a couple pieces of trash from careless people. My advice is if you want a beautiful location, don't rely on others, pick up a piece and get it in the trash.
  • Fun place to take kids to swim and play in the shallow water. Be careful, lots of slippery spots! You can walk down the river a good ways and see all of the little minnows. Ample parking spots and easy entry into the water.
  • A perfect place to take the family. During the heat of the summer bring a tent or a blanket to post up in the shade. It's great for all ages and you can't beat free.
  • Awesome city park. Definitely worth a stop if driving by with the kids to climb on the rocks and safe in the river.
