  • We visited downtown Glen Rose and decided to go to the park. You can see fossils in the huge rocks. Great time wading in the shallow water. Saw people kayaking. Take water shoes.
  • Neat and unusual spot. Small area. Clean, clear water. Nice spot to wade. Fun to climb the rocks. Great place for pictures. No picnic tables. Few trash bins. Uneven parking lot. Not crowded. Limited p...  read more »
  • We just happened by and saw the park. The rocks are enormous and the river flowing by is beautiful. Great picture taking area. i think you can swim there in the summer but not sure.
  • Very unique place! Lots of fun to play in the water, but bring water shoes, the rocks in the river are very slippery! We had lots of fun, but if you are going when it's very hot, bring shade! There is almost none there. Very neat the city provides this free! Check it out!
  • We drive nearly an hour to visit this park. It's beautiful when the water is running, and it feels so good to float just over the rocks. The kids love to climb the rocks and explore the crevices between. Yes, you may see a couple pieces of trash from careless people. My advice is if you want a beautiful location, don't rely on others, pick up a piece and get it in the trash.
  • Fun place to take kids to swim and play in the shallow water. Be careful, lots of slippery spots! You can walk down the river a good ways and see all of the little minnows. Ample parking spots and easy entry into the water.
  • Good clean family fun! I wore my swim shoes since the river had a rock bottom. Crystal clear water and safe places for the little people to get wet. ALOT of hiding places in the rocks. We had a good game of hide and seek with all ages.
  • Fun spot for old fashioned wading in a clean shallow river! Lots of happy families. And a free price tag!
