  • Was there today for a school tour. The grounds are beautiful the tour is very well done, a way too long for 11-12 yr old kids 4 long hours. We started our tour with Keith I was thinking wow if this is how it's going to go this is not going to be good. He was rude, had no patience with the children and just down right MEAN! The rest of the people are very nice but Keith should really re think his job if he hates it that much. Keith really put a bad taste in all of our mouths.
  • Gorgeous property with many authentic old historically relevant buildings as part of a Living Museum, a working Grist Mill buy fresh ground cornmeal for $5 a bag to support this and eat well!). There are also many well thought out and well marked trails, a sample butterfly garden with great ecological social value to the community: an important contribution to society in these times when maintaining bee and Butterfly populations is so important to all of our well our agriculture health and well-being. You will hear and see road noise and movement from some trails but it's still quite beautiful. Some trails require crossing a stream on large flat rocks which the less agile might find challenging but I found quite fun even in church garb! There are many wonderful concerts events educational and artistic including a photography show currently. There's at least one cabin and Pavilion area that can be rented for special events and the place is just amazing! I love it!
  • Great family education and walking destination with out of the way picnic area. Stocked trout fishing.
  • Beautiful place to stroll around, learn some history and take the kids fishing.
  • Very pretty location for pictures. Some of the walkways are a bit dangerous if you don't watch your footing though so be careful.
