  • explored the old Coast Guard building and explored the grounds surrounding. Offers a beautiful, quieter beach  more »

  • Good place for a rest stop away from the dunes. Actual historical value of stopping here is not quite as expected, but still interesting.
  • Dogs are not allowed even outside on the property. Big frowny face. Too hot to leave the puppy in the car, I waited with Fritz on the bench while the rest of my tribe visited.
  • Sleepy area in autumn, we rode our bikes here, the history is neat, and so are the rocks along the beach.
  • This was a neat little museum. It was interesting to see how things were done back in the early days
  • Easy walk to the beach. Great area to swim too.
