combines Glacier National Park in the United States with Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada, forming one giant landscape of high mountains, glaciers, thick forests, and expansive prairies. Drive scenic roads as you search for wildlife, such as moose, bison, bighorn sheep, and bears throughout the 4,556 sq km (1,720 sq mi) park. You can take part in hiking, biking, and fishing in summer and snowshoeing, skiing, and snowmobiling in winter. The landscape is similar in both national parks, but Waterton Lakes remains the less busy of the two. Customs officials are stationed at the Chief Mountain border crossing, so make sure you have the proper documents if you plan to visit both parks. • Even if the way to Glacier National Park is relatively long, because the Park is however, quite away from the usual tourist routes, you should risk the way you are rewarded with a breathtaking mountain world! It's especially nice the peace and solitude, because the Park is really not crowded and offers many beautiful options for hiking or even picnicking in nature or simply to relax. There is something for everyone and the fauna is varied and impressive, it must be remembered here the binoculars!
