  • Very scenic and less crowded than other parts of Glacier. Nice short walk to see a waterfall nearby. Worth the drive to check it out.  more »
  • Glacier National Park is divided into three of the GTTS (Going To The Sun road) along with Many Glacier area, and Two Medicine area. I thought here is slightly away from the other two locations, few tourists have visited when visited this afternoon for what parking is already in full has available Overflow Parking. We recommend you leave your car there are scenic points along the way from St.Mary, below the Lower Two Medicine Lake is clearly visible, so. It is pity there View Point continue the Lower Two Medicine Lake Road from the two Medicine area of the Park gates is out of the way trees, lakes and mountains are clearly visible. "As far as possible in conformity with nature" that no-no is to cut down trees for the tourists in the United States National Park that would.

Where to stay in Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park offers a wealth of accommodation options right inside the park. You can stake a tent in one of the campgrounds or choose from a handful of rustic lodges and chalets. Rooms fill up quickly at these, so make reservations as far in advance as possible (up to a year ahead). A few inns, motels, and lodges sit around the St. Mary's Lakes by the park's northeast boundary, but staying in Whitefish on the western side is a better choice if you prefer to be in a Montana mountain town. Here you'll find homey inns and lodges, economy motels, and a wide range of restaurants. You'll find additional inns and motels as you drive east along Route 2 toward the park's entrance.
