  • All waterfalls are great. Just be careful. People drive too fast while trying to take pictures. Great place to see
  • This doesn't require a stop along GTTS road, but it is pretty to drive by. My son-in-law liked to tease our daughter by opening her window as we approached it in hopes of getting her wet.
  • This is a great day hike option from Logan Pass. Not for young kids, or those that suffer from vertigo, but otherwise awesome. Best views of the valleys that you'll find on the west side of Glacier Pa...  read more »
  • My wife and I could not be any happier with our choice of staying for a week at the Garden Wall Inn. Glacier NP was outstanding, photos don't do it justice. But the experience was amplified 10X by the incredible hospitality we were afforded at the GWI. Chris and Rhonda are unequaled in their attention to detail and creating an enjoyable experience for their guests. The breakfast was always excellent featuring fresh local ingredients, fruits and vegetables and we always looked forward to the 5 PM "happy hour" for a glass of wine, hors d'oeuvres and good conversation. Chris is a wealth of information about Glacier NP and enthusiastically shares his knowledge. I am not one who usually writes reviews however we were so blown away by the way we were treated that I wanted to give Chris, Rhonda and their wonderful inn it's well deserved recognition.
  • Far surpassed our expectations! Chris and Rhonda are fantastic. We could not ask for better hosts. They cooked the most AMAZING breakfasts I have ever consumed. I wish I could bring them home with me! They also had many helpful suggestions on what to do (other than ski) and restaurant recommendations.
  • Jen and I had a wonderful stay here while exploring Glacier. Chris and Rhonda are fantastic hosts: incredibly friendly, giving great advice on where to explore, and cooking fantastic breakfasts. Nothing like having fresh coffee delivered to your room first thing in the morning! Couldn't recommend more highly.
  • You will not find a better or more memorable breakfast! The Garden Wall Inn uses local products accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice and their own special blend of coffee. Fresh-baked scones, muffins and a beautiful fruit cup accompany the fabulous meal. Enjoy!
  • I highly recommend this Inn. Awarding five stars is rare for me, even more-so for hotels; however, The Garden Wall Inn earns all of them. The service is impeccable; the place is warm and cozy; the breakfast is wonderful (as in damn-good-chef wonderful) with fresh juices and breads, wonderful egg dishes, catering to our dietary needs. We left breakfast each morning not sluggish, but energized. And the afternoon hors d'oeuvres were just right. The claw-foot bathtubs are a wonderful touch, and the wrap around curtains and rain-shower heads with great water pressure make for a great end to a day. It was my first time booking my family in Whitefish, and I took a chance on The Garden Wall Inn, rather than a larger hotel. I am so glad I did. The place was just right, enough family time in the living room by the fire, and plenty of wonderful short walks to and from town. Chris and Rhonda are damn good innkeepers. They called in dinner reservations for us, gave us passes to the gym, accommodated us for breakfast, and even left out for us a continental buffet for our very early flight. I could say more, but, to the point, it's hard to imaging going wrong with this place. Give it a try.
