Narcisi Winery opened its doors on November 1, 2001, fulfilling Dennis Narcisi's lifelong dream. The winery is a state-of-the-art facility combining Old World wine-making traditions with modern technology. All grapes are harvested from local vineyards and processed exclusively with stainless steel equipment and tanks. The Narcisi wine-making process is focused on naturally preserving the true character of the grape through the use of minimal filtration and low amounts of sulfites. Resting along the banks of Deer Creek, amongst the pristine landscape of Western Pennsylvania, Narcisi Winery is a 30-minute drive north of Pittsburgh. Decided to go out and visit some local wineries. This was our first stop and we found it to be a very nice place. We had already eaten,, so we didn't have a meal there but did do the wine tasting and ... more »
It started out well. We walked in and received two complementary wine tastings. The gentlemen that helped us was very kind and attentive. It was our first time at Narcisi and he explained to us where the restaurant was and how to get a table. Once we got seated, nobody came over to serve us. The restaurant was not busy at all. Servers kept walking past without even looking at us. All of the tables around us had already received their food. We sat and waited for twenty minutes before giving up and decided to leave and go somewhere else. Many people raved about Narcisi to us and we were very excited to go. We left very disappointed.
Yesterday, a week before Christmas, I wanted to treat my mother and five additional family members to La Casa Narcisi Winery for dinner. We arrived during the early evening only to find out they were booked with reservations. However before we could consider leaving the staff was able to accommodate our larger party and have us sit only after a short wait time. As with every other visit to Narcisi, we enjoyed fantastic food and super service! I understand this can't happen all the time, but many thanks to Joe, the front end manager, for making it happen and the other staff for an excellent dining experience!
Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food and world class local hand crafted wine. Could not be more welcoming!
We had our wedding at Narcisi this month. We eat there frequently and it is our absolute favorite place to be in the world. The wait staff and management was great to work with. We had wonderful food and service. We were able to include everything we wanted in our wedding at Narcisi, real candles, small banquet rooms, perfect service, our own wedding cake, and a TV for videos and music. It was a perfect venue and perfect service. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We even spilled candle wax on the floor and no one mentioned it to our family or the bride. They stopped construction outside on their new gazebo and were quiet and accommodating in the kitchen when we had our service. Everyone was accommodating, the band was wonderful, and the outside area is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Narcisi for a wonderful day. I recommend this place for dinner and events for anyone. It is heaven on earth.
Visit the best part of Italy in your back yard! Like their wine this place just gets better with time. It has become one of our favorite local destinations and with good reason. The food is amazing, the wine perfect with great variety. The atmosphere is nothing short of amazing. Pair this with a constant flow of great entertainment and an outdoor venue that is spacious and fun for every one and you will understand why you will want to keep coming back time and time again! While it may seem pricey to dine here it is one of the few places where you can see the money they make being poured back into the property. Every year you can see the investment they make. Excellent job Narciso!
