Entertainment Center
Transport yourself to the Civil War era at Victorian Photography Studio. With the studio's vast selection of costumes and props, as well as expert guidance, you can assume the guise of a 19th-century individual from any walk of life. The studio modifies digital photography to give the pictures and prints a vintage appearance or make them look like oil paintings. You can even opt for a wet plate photo, taken using the original 19th-century technique--which also lets you see how photos were made then. Booking a session online is best. • Just got a wet plate and digitals done. It was not only fun (and high quality!) but it was informative on the process of photography of the Victorian Era. I'd highly recommend, worth every penny!  more »
  • We were only in town for the day, so I was glad we were able to get in for a session. The owner and his wife were very personable, and professional. There was a great selection of clothes and we had p...  more »
  • We went to this talented photographer who welcomed us beautifully! Plenty of choice of costumes! Also opted for photography on the old plaque. An experience not to be missed especially if you go through Gettysburg!

  • My sister Pam and I made an appointment to have a portrait done. We both wanted to be working on our crafts in the portrait. Pam does quilting and I do crochet. Pat was very excited about that and was helpful getting us ready. She also dropped some history on the clothing she was dressing us in for the portrait. We had so much fun that we had another done with party clothes. My sister and I enjoyed the experience. If you are on the fence, I say go ahead and treat yourself.
  • Fun, Professional, knowledgeable!! I have a business and had them come over the holidays to give my guests a fun time and gift. The quality of the photos were the best! They were so very fun to work with made our guests feel at ease and have a good time. They are so very knowledgeable about the era and the dress and shared a lot of fun stories. I know what they do is hard work but they made flow. I can not recommend them enough for your family or business event.
  • We had a wet plate photo (tin type) - we were so well received....they dressed us, did our hair, all down to the last details (flowers in my daughter's hair, clip on earrings, necklaces...) Before the photo was taken, they even took the time to explain the entire process. What chemicals they used, how they prepared the piece of tin, why people don't usually smile in Victorian photographs, etc....this was an AMAZING experience! The photograph is authentic looking, everyone so friendly and accommodating...I would recommend it to everyone!
  • Great fun. My husband, 85, looked fabulous dressed as a Civil War general. And Tish allowed us to include our sweet old Cocker Spaniel in the photo. Now we have a memory to treasure forever!
