  • We purchased an audio tour from TripAdvisor. Only way to go. It's SO interesting. We loved the battlefield, which is so beautifully maintained.

  • We were there at dusk listening to a self guided ghost tour and we honestly felt an eerie feeling in this area. My camera was acting up so badly , I could barely get a photo.

  • One of the least visited places on the battlefield. If you want peace, quiet and solitude, drive out to east cav and you'll find it.

  • This was a nice quiet area to visit after a day of touring the more popular gettysburg battlefield. Less traffic and fewer people. A nice quiet place to relax and reflect.
  • George Custer successfully faught at this Gettysburg site as a 23 year old General! I'm sure not too many people knew that; I didn't. Here he is looking atop his monument.
  • Often overlooked area. I recommend reading "Gettysburg Forgotten Cavalry Actions" and "Protecting The Flanks - The Battles for Brinkerhoff Ridge and East Cavalry Field" by Eric Wittenberg.
  • This is pretty farm land with some good NPS displays as always. It was just hard to get the picture of the battle.
  • Very interesting and beautiful place. Well worth taking the time to visit. The cavalry battles that took place here were an important part of the story of Gettysburg.
