  • Great place for work parties. Rocky is the bomb. The food and the bowling alley is top notch. Love the adult bar restaurant, C.J.'s in the back.
  • My wife's 35 year class reunion mixer was held at Mel's last weekend. This is a great venue. Very clean and affordable. We shared a sandwich and it was excellent. All shoes were all like new, the lane...  read more »
  • We went to Mel's on a hot afternoon to entertain the kids and get out of the heat. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Mel's allows kids two free games each week during the summer. We just paid ...  read more »
  • Dissapointed in our experience last night. We came because we wanted to have a good time and unfortunately left feeling upset. We have 5 kids and things can be hectic. So I see they have servers (as always) that come to your table/Lane.... NOT OURS, the whole night we rang for assistance and simply were IGNORED. I could not enjoy our time together, because I was trying to get the staffs attention, that's just sad. We had to leave our lane to order. (I don't know why i still ordered). Do you have any idea how DIFFICULT it is to handle 5 KIDS in a crowded bowling alley? SO with that being said.... YES getting up to get everything IS A HASSLE and YES it is a HUGE inconvenience. I tried to be positive about the whole deal but this was extremely upsetting because we came spent our hard earned money, paid for your over priced food and ended up having a bad time. So yes i did speak with the Manager and his response was "well thats just the way it is for now, we are short handed and we have had several complaints about this issue we apologize" so my wife and I concluded that he just simply didn't care. Now going back to the "short staffed" issue, ok maybe you are short staffed, HOWEVER I still DO NOT understand a few things so here's some questions: 1. Why the server could NOT come to our table if she had enough free time to clean tables? 2. When I waived and did jumping jacks to get the Managers attention to order something he spoke into his mic to get someone over to our table, NOBODY came. Oh and did I mention he knew he had previous complaints... hmm. Maybe HE should've stepped in? "Yes can I take your order?" I mean afterall they are short staffed right? Maybe during all of this nightmare. Some kind of compensation or something could've been offered to make this nightmare somewhat doable but sadly we just left -$80.00 dissatisfied.... think about it before you go here people. You might be wasting your time and money.
  • Nice bowling alley, decent arcade with prizes, only one in Georgetown that I know of (CiCi's has a small arcade, no prizes). The summer kids club saves a lot of money, and the half prove arcade times are nice. The seating in the bar section (open to kids prior to 4pm) is comfortable, and the service is good. It doesn't have to be outrageously expensive if you know when to go for a good deal, and it beats driving to Austin.
  • Fun and a pokestop Karoke wednesday9:00 to midnight
  • We've come here a couple times, overall the service is awesome. They bent over backwards to make sure we weren't over paying for the games, they worked it out to where we could still take advantage of the free Father's Day bowl and get discounts for the kids so that was awesome. We ordered the food this time and it was decent. The two breakfast taco deal was good to me. We'll keep coming back for sure.
  • Every single time we come here there is at least an hour wait, and sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get a lane. The wait staff and management are extremely inconsiderate. The food is well below average quality, and some of the items I see I would not serve to my dog. Half the time you get here, and they tell you they can't let you have a lane for a tournament, or some other reason. Same thing happened to me today for a fundraiser and they couldn't open a lane for us despite there being 24 open lanes. This place obviously doesn't want customer money so find somewhere else you will be wasting your time coming here.
