  • We come to Loveland about once a year and we always have a great time! They have a great beginners area! I had out of town guests with me and it is an easy drive from Denver! They rented ski equipment from Loveland the morning of skiing and it was a pretty quick and easy process. We were in and out in about 30 minutes but compared to the over an hour wait at other resorts i have experienced it felt really fast! Always a good time at this ski area!
  • We took a last minute trip to Colorado a couple months ago. For being a family of 5, I was pretty hesitant about how much it would cost for us to ski. I found Loveland online, read some of the reviews, and we decided that this was the place to have some fun! I did some research before we headed out to Loveland, their website is very user friendly, and was able to get some very helpful tips to prepare for our trip! Once we got there, we signed up to get our equipment, their staff was very nice and friendly, they didn't treat us any different when we told them that we were first timers, which made us feel comfortable. I thought we were going to pay a lot to ski but believe or not, it wasn't that expensive compared to other ski areas! Really great spot for day skiing, as it was a last minute thing for us! Definitely recommend this for beginners. It was the best decision we made! Thank you Loveland for a great experience! We will definitely be returning.
  • My husband and I cannot wait to come back here! So much fun, so close to Denver, and so affordable! Also...if you haven't had legit Colorado green chili with pork on top of a snowy mountain, I recommend you make your way up to Ptarmigan Roost. Pair it with your choice of Oscar Blues beer for a fun ski back down the mountain!
  • Craig was our snow board instructor and was possibly the most friendly person I have ever met. He had a large group that he was teaching and as the lesson progressed, it was clear some people were getting better while others were not. I imagine that would be tough to deal with, but he was able to accommodate all in the class. The resort itself was plain but people Craig made the place so much better.
  • Great place to ski conveniently located on the city-side of the tunnels. If you like to had a little spicey fitness to your, consider a free uphill access pass and skin to the continental divide, then ski down. Pro tip -during good snow conditions there are moon full parties just off 6 below the pass.
