  • Easy walkway or bike path along the lake. Accommodates children and handicapped. Beautiful views of Seneca Lake. Large picnic area.  more »
  • Rainy day visit in March - but still a beautiful setting. Many picnic tables, cute playground - next visit will be in the summer sun!  more »
  • Lots of walkways along the lake, with great views. Play area and spray park for kids, large marina, but that's about it. Roads through park are horrendously pot-holed and deteriorated. Needs a lot or ...  more »

  • I visit this park almost daily. Huge trees perfect for climbing, miles of lakefront for walking, running, or bike riding, swimming, playgrounds, grills, picnic benches. It's just perfect and beautiful. At one end of the park is the Ramada Hotel which hosts live music open to the public every Friday, and at the other is the marina with kayaks to rent. A must see when visiting Geneva or Waterloo.
  • Seneca Lake State Park is one of the many start parks throughout New York. It is very easy to use the website to for a virtual tour of the campsites and to reserve your site as well. This was one of the first state parks that I tried camping at and instantly fell in love with camping in Western New York. Our campsite was very clean and had a picnic table and fire pit with it. The facilities include clean and hot showers and areas to wash your cooking supplies. Depending on which site you choose, the lake is as close as a 5 minute walk or as far as a 20 minute walk. Seneca Lake also has many wineries along both sides of the lake. Nothing beats going to a couple wineries, and coming back to relax while you enjoy the wines from the day. Definitely worth coming to spend a nice relaxing weekend away from it all.
  • Cool splash pad and playground for kids. The lake is beautiful and there is plenty of places to sit and picnic around the lake. The only thing that is a drawback, in my opinion, is the swim areas is quite small and only open 11-7.
  • Great place for family fun. Highly recommended. Entrance fee includes use of swimming beach, spray park, picnic areas with grills. One downside can be sea weed on beach, although the park manages clean up quite well.
  • Beautiful scenic park with lots of activities for kids. Clean washrooms. They have a "Carry In, Carry Out" policy for garbage.
