  • We found this cute little B&B on the internet and were guests this week for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were a little early so we went into the restaurant and sampled some wine. Once tasted and liked, w...  more »

  • What a gorgeous property! The wine and food selection was fantastic and we enjoyed the cute gift shop. The best part though are the grounds and view. We loved sitting on the adirondack chairs and enjoying wine while looking out onto the lake. We look forward to going back.
  • If a major life occurrence happens within 2 weeks of your stay, there are absolutely NO exceptions made for you (i.e. death, etc). My husband booked as an anniversary trip 10 days before our reservation we found out we were pregnant. We called to let Inn know and they said they would "release our room" in hopes that it would re-book. If it didn't, we could move our reservation to another weekend. When we called back to see if the room was re-booked, instead of letting us re-schedule our reservation so we can both actually enjoy drinking the wine (WE DID NOT ASK FOR OUR MONEY BACK-just asked to move reservation), the Inn told us we're out of luck and they're charging us the full price. Perhaps employees should all be made aware of the policies so customers are not LIED to. What was supposed to be an anniversary weekend is now money down the drain. WILL NOT RECOMMEND NOR BOOK AGAIN.
  • Good food. Great views. Helpful staff. It took a long time to get our lunch, but we got there right at opening so that may have been a factor.
  • Third time we have been to the lakehouse. We have eaten inside and crosswinds grill and on the patio. We have also had wine on the patio on a separate occasion. We were not impressed with any of the wine. The food was ok so we came back to try it again. But the service is not. 1 out of 3 waitresses were friendly. The other 2 treated us like we were a burden. I felt like they don't want or need our business. They have a nice location off the strip, but don't expect fast or friendly service.
  • Absolutely horrible service. It took 5-10 minutes for us to get sat because the bartender was AWOL. We finally got sat when a server from the Crosswinds Bar next door came and asked if we were waiting to get sat, so she fetched the bartender from who knows where. When the bartender came back, she sat us diligently and then went to seat the next group, 16 tourists all wanting drinks. She then got them their drinks first while my boyfriend and I waited to be serviced. Then she sat another couple, went back to the bar, serviced another gentleman at the bar, while we still sat with our menus and no beverage. This is incredibly disappointing, as we came here specifically for a nice glass of wine beside Lake Erie. If you want fast and diligent service, do not come here. Yes, the bartender was very nice when she finally arrived at our table but that was a good 15 minutes later.
