  • We stayed in cabin number one which was very nicely decorated with an updated kitchen. The bedrooms were a bit on the small side for the large bed size. We had superb weather and enjoyed spending time...  read more »

  • What a gorgeous property! The wine and food selection was fantastic and we enjoyed the cute gift shop. The best part though are the grounds and view. We loved sitting on the adirondack chairs and enjoying wine while looking out onto the lake. We look forward to going back.
  • Third time we have been to the lakehouse. We have eaten inside and crosswinds grill and on the patio. We have also had wine on the patio on a separate occasion. We were not impressed with any of the wine. The food was ok so we came back to try it again. But the service is not. 1 out of 3 waitresses were friendly. The other 2 treated us like we were a burden. I felt like they don't want or need our business. They have a nice location off the strip, but don't expect fast or friendly service.
  • Absolutely horrible service. It took 5-10 minutes for us to get sat because the bartender was AWOL. We finally got sat when a server from the Crosswinds Bar next door came and asked if we were waiting to get sat, so she fetched the bartender from who knows where. When the bartender came back, she sat us diligently and then went to seat the next group, 16 tourists all wanting drinks. She then got them their drinks first while my boyfriend and I waited to be serviced. Then she sat another couple, went back to the bar, serviced another gentleman at the bar, while we still sat with our menus and no beverage. This is incredibly disappointing, as we came here specifically for a nice glass of wine beside Lake Erie. If you want fast and diligent service, do not come here. Yes, the bartender was very nice when she finally arrived at our table but that was a good 15 minutes later.
  • Atmosphere out back at the outside bar is nice, because you are on the lake. Menu is limited and they won't make any changes such as removing prosciutto from the burger. Our waitress was very nice but our food was very slow. We had a party of 4 and one ordered a salad. People that sat and ordered long after us got 2 salads and finished them before our one salad. I had to ask where our salad was. Same with our 2 burgers, fish sandwich and chicken sandwich, they came out after others were finished who sat down and ordered after as. Go for the atmosphere and wine, not the food.
  • My wife and I stopped in for a glass of wine on a Thursday afternoon before an appointment in the area. Service was quick and friendly, and the lake view was beautiful.
