  • With sooo many wineries to choose from in Geneva, Ohio I guess you could up your game as a winery owner to compete, or you could slip along knowing clueless tourists are going to unwittingly straggle ...  more »
  • The wines were pretty good, but the service in the restaurant was terrible. It took forever to get our food, and it was cold when it finally arrived.  more »

  • Someone from work recommended we eat here. It wasn't a busy night by any means but we waited 20 minutes to hunt down a hostess to acknowledge and seat us. It took the server 30 minutes to take our drink orders (a coke and a Riesling) and after 15 minutes more of waiting for our drinks to arrive, we were able to flag down the hostess who offered to get our drinks instead but was too young to serve the wine (no fault of hers). We waited over 90 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was cold, and do I mean cold! We calmly complained but all we got in return was "oh, sorry." No offer to correct it, nuke it or take it off our bill. We took our food home in boxes and heated it up when we got there. It tasted good after reheating which we were of course happy about...Had it been busy at all that night, we would have been more understanding, but service was awful with only a few other patrons present...and with so many great wineries in the area we see no reason to go back there, nor would we recommend it to anyone we know. When we met our new neighbors, they were telling us about great food in the area and actually advised us not to go here! It's sad, because even when reheated the food was tasty!
  • Do you want to drink good wine and eat amazing food? Me to, I do not like to dress up and hang out with the type of people, you would classify snobby! This place is by far perfect, sometimes wait times are not good, bands are horrible!!! Food and Wines are consistent, in flavors!!!!! This place is also great with lunch!!!! Service is not always the greatest, like I said before the food makes up for any inconveniences. The prices here are absolutely on point as well! A couple can eat here for a few dollars more than fast food, with a healthier and better selection of food!!! GIVE IT A SHOT, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE!!!!
  • The best wings.. I got 24 Cajun. And 24 Spicy Ranch.. They did forget celery, but giant eagle had it for 99cents.Fries and wings were cooked to perfection.. Very saucey wings.. I'll recommend this to everyone..
  • We just had the most wonderfully delightful experience at Deer's Leap Winery. We went for Valentine's Day, and they had some really great specials for the occasion. All of them were very reasonably priced, and the portions were enormous for the price. Each meal came with 2 sides, breadsticks, and the most scrumptious homemade desserts (which I was told the owner made herself) They were so pretty, I almost didn't want to stick a fork in them. Well, it turned out, that they were even more delicious than pretty. All of this included in the same price. We have eaten there before and have always liked their food, but they truly outdid themselves for Valentines Day. Staff there are always so friendly, and although there may have been a time or two where we had a longer wait for our food than normal, this, for me tells me that the food isn't fast food, and will be a better quality than fast food. I can't say a lot about the wines, because I'm not a big wine drinker, or expert on wines, but I will say that the couple of wines that I did try, I liked. They were the sweet wines, that people like me, who don't regularly drink them, like. So, If you're a real wine drinker, I suggest you just stop on by, and taste their selection, to judge, since I'm not much help on the subject. They also have a full bar, for the non wine drinkers. That's a big plus for me. Well I hope you give this place a try, the food really is soooo good, and I wish this business the very best, so that it stays open a long time. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
  • We called ahead for seating a large group. When we got here we were seated inside. The waitress took our drink order but took FOREVER to take our food order and the restaurant was NOT busy at all! Two hours and forty minutes later got our food... after closing time. DO NOT GO THERE TO EAT! TOOK FOREVER TO GET OUR FOOD!😠
