  • This is the favourite initial destination for my family to ski in the Gaylord area. The hill is not too challenging for the novice skier and is good fun for a warmup day for the rest of us that are pr...  more »

  • Our stay at Treetops Resort was delightful. Our lodge room was large and beautiful. I was there for a conference and experience the conference space. It worked very well for our group. The staff was friendly and hospitable. If you are a golfer it is definitely somewhere that you might want to check out.
  • AWESOME golf in spectacular condition. The staff at the course (we played the Masterpiece) were phenomenal and, I'll say it again, the course is amazing. BUT the condo we rented (#8C) had duct tape keeping the door functioning, and it failed during our visit which kept us off the balcony for much of the evening. The master toilet leaked and the beds did not fit our request during reservation. Pretty ridiculous considering how nice everything is here. Otherwise a 5-star visit and we came for golf after all!
  • Love the courses, they play a little bit behind the posted times at busy times but they stay on the time with the rangers. Rooms are dated and prices are high compared to in state competition but this is a must go either way. I'm on my second trip of the year and I couldn't ask for much more, it's a golf resort so you have to deal with the idiot golfer everyone knows and hates but besides that you're going to enjoy every minute. Courses were in better shape in July, but still good shape for the end of the season. Tee boxes and greens are 8 or 9 out of 10, fairways could use a little work but we realized on our first fairway of tradition that our seed bottle was 100% empty, tiny details but explains why the fairways are in worse shape than the greens and tees, I don't know if it's lazy golfers, no seed available to replace divots or a combination of the two. If you golf you have to come to tree tops, play all the courses however you have to do it, we fit 45 holes in the first day to make it happen and you can to!
  • Let me start with if you like golf this resort is a MUST PLAY! The golf courses are amazing we played all 5 and all of them are nothing short of spectacular. For the price you can't beat it. The reason I knocked a star off is due to hotel accommodations. I stayed at the Inn and the rooms need updating. But we did not spend much time in them. The package we had came with breakfast vouchers. I'm sceptical about hotel breakfast but I can say Treetops does it right. Buffet style with eggs, pancakes, potatoes, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit and oatmeal. Also they had an omelette and waffle station. To sum it up if your are on the fence about a trip to Treetops for golf I will make it easy for you. GO!
  • The golf courses here are very beautiful and challenging. All the staff members were friendly and professional. The rooms were dated 80's but adequate (we didn't spend much time in the room). The par 3 Threetops course is a bucket list type course that all golf nuts should try.
