  • What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? I first visited it almost nine years ago when my now ex-wife and I were here to get married. Love the little shops - the set-up reminds m...  more »
  • This is where my husband always wants to walk to in Gatlinburg. He loves the quaint look of the place and the hot chocolate at the Donut Friar. We also love to browse the shops and art gallery.  more »
  • It's cute and there's variety of shops for everyone. You can walk here if your hotel is just a 1/4 mile. You're better off than driving because you'll save time. Words of advice: Do not come to Gatlin...  more »

  • I couldn't get enough of the character and quality of these shops. It's such a nice retreat from the gaudy tourist shops on the main drag. The shops are tucked behind the main drag and offer a cozy, European feel with rolling cobblestone streets and 19th century German architecture. The shops are filled with a wide variety of awesome wares such as clothing, food, toys, memorabilia and specialty items, all packed inside shops that each hold their own specific character. IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS IN A REAL-LIFE DIAGON ALLEY!!
  • Lots of tiny, unique shops selling everything from hiking supplies to toys to Irish jewelry. The central courtyard is a great place to sit and take a break, especially if the fire and water fountain is going.
  • My favorite spot in Gatlinburg! It is so pretty during Christmas time. I recommend getting a donut from the donut friar while you're there.
  • Charming place to walk and shop, specially in early mornings when it is less crowded. The Frair is the highlight of the village. The tea shop offers versatile types of tea and herbs. I regret not passing through the socks shop. Staff are very friendly. Public spaces are clean and beautiful. The turns And bends in streets make them mysterious and interesting.
  • I love going here everytime I visit Tennessee. There is such a variety of shops here ranging from hot sauce place, Celtic store and a nice little donut shop. I would suggest get a cup of coffee from the donut shop and walk about and window shop.
