  • Great staff! Love the laid back feel, but elegant decorations. They have a great selection of wines.
  • Excellent staff, excellent environment. They do free tastings and it's not the same thing for everyone, like every other place does. The wine seller will figure out exactly what type of wine you like and give you a variation of what you like. My boyfriend and I have completely different tastes and they really pegged both of us. No weird limitations like the other tastings. Ask for Misti she's the best!
  • They offer free tastings of a couple wines of your choice, or you can purchase a souvenir glass for a few dollars and try several more of their offerings. The wine tends to run a bit on the fruity, muscadine side, but we like our wine a bit sweet so that flavor sits well with us. The shop is also very nice and the staff are friendly.
  • First, a disclaimer. I work for an award-winning boutique vineyard in North Carolina so I know my wines. The wine here is excellent. For $5 you get the wine glass and seven wines ranging from dry to sweet.I bought a bottle of the Baskins Creek Blanc which has a muscadine taste upfront but finishes off like a semi dry white. Just the right amount of sweetness.
  • Steve was such a great help! My significant other and I were in town celebrating our year anniversary, and he made our experience so much better. He knew exactly what we needed as soon as we told him a vague idea of what we were looking for. Worth the trip!
