  • I have been coming to this candy store literally my entire life. You can't go wrong with anything in here. You also need to stop by and watch the taffy being made. For all my trips to Gatlinburg in my...  read more »
  • A must stop taffy stop!! Enjoyed great customer service. Loved watching the taffy being made. I have never cared for taffy in the past but the texture and taste of your taffy has made me a fan! Thank ...  read more »
  • Best price in Gatlinburg for sweets. Always busy-worth the wait. So many varieties of fudge and salt-water taffy. Can see taffy being made. Purchase may be eaten before you leave store!
  • Rude service! Took my daughters to Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen on 8/3/2016 at 9:45PM 4 ladies working not one time they greeted us. We tried to get their attention but they were to busy standing and leaning on the table in the middle by registers with their backs turned toward us. this went on for 15 minutes with the lady workers talking about their personal business for everyone to hear ...BUT too busy to help us or anyone else. I saw several customers walk out of the store. Finally another worker came from the back and rung us up... What horrible service. Too many good candy stores in Gatlinburg you can visit. Stay away from this one. I feel bad for the owners of this business. I am sure they worked hard to get where they are and if they are wondering why their business has not been as profitable...Then here is a start. We will not be back , along with the other customers that left with rude to no service that night.
  • A family tradition of ours for 3 generations. Homemade candies and chocolates. Taffy made on site! I like the original location better, which is near the Methidust Church. Both are on the Parkway.
  • Local flavor and an amazing taffy making process are put on display for you to enjoy. Be sure to try the fresh taffy right off of the rollers.
  • I have been going to Gatlinburg since I was 5. I'm an old man now but I did take my children on vacations up there in Tenn before they grew up. But I passed it on... Thank you Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. I a always enjoyed pressing up against the glass watching their team work making, pulling and all sorts of confectionary art work. And always smiling and honestly seemed to enjoy their work. Why couldn't we all be so lucky? But hey, a lot of us have been there and are taking time to write something nice and deserving. You bring happiness to hundreds of thousands of people. Have fun in your job and we'll keep buying and watching performances. Thank everyone again from 1950---on. Hopefully never will it end. Bravo 🍭🍬🍭🍫
