  • Great ride up and down. View is awesome. Really enjoyed the music at the top. What more can I say, take the ride, bask in the view.
  • Great view of the area and many nice chalets and homes that you would not usually see, were visible from the ride up the mountain. At the top there were places to eat and a few shops as well as an ice...  read more »
  • We rode the air tram up and the sights were out of this world. It gets a bit crowded but If you can overlook that it's worth it. The activities were fun for everyone. The sky coaster was fun and the m...  read more »
  • My wife and I came here on Sunday of a holiday weekend. We were initially concerned about the negative reviews we had read. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but was much more crowded half way through our meal. We got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. We liked the chips it was served with. My pot roast was yummy. My wife had the stuffed chicken with portables mushrooms and provolone with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Everything we ate was tasty. We finished the meal with lava cake. Yum! The service was great. The wait staff was always busy attending to their customers. This restaurant met our expectations and we will return.
  • Asthma warning. Great attraction and fun rides overall; however, other than one gentleman the ice rink staff are very rude. Why work in a hospitality job if it's obvious you don't like people. I don't suffer from asthma but be WARNED if you do. When returning skates, immediately back away from counter because they spray an antiseptic spray that disperses a huge cloud of irritants to those susceptible.
  • Tried riding the new mountain coaster, really disappointed. Ride is new but very rough and stops you violently instead of slowly. Rode similar coasters with no complaints. Stay off this ride. Complained and got an apology but been nice to get a refund or partial. Paid 45$ to end up seeing a chiropractor soon!!! Daughter and her friend has seat belt marks where their coaster was stopped also.
  • Very crowded! Not a great view when they cram 100+ people on it. Children can't see unless at a window seat, very few seats, & hot. I wouldn't ride this again if it were free. Disappointed customer. Love Gatlinburg- not the Ober. Many other ways to see/experience the mountains.
  • Worst roller coaster I have every been on. $15 each person EXTRA. Please do not waste your money. The whole ride is ill-conceive. It's jerky, unsafe, not fun, you have to control the speed and stoping yourself, etc., etc. The best thing about Ober is the tram ride up and down (if you can handle heights), and the gorgeous view. But, skip the coaster!
