  • After a busy morning hiking, we stopped for a quick break. After lunch, the kids were able to climb around the stream. Clean restrooms and free parking. Plenty of picnic tables.  more »
  • Awesome and peacefull spot in Gatlinburg that was free and you could be very leisurely around. The worst of the downtown fire damage was in and around this park with many many buildings and residences...  more »

  • Great place on the 4th of July to hang out and listen to wonderful music.
  • I love this little park. It is nested in the middle of nice community and is well maintained. There are 8 tennis courts, an asphalt basketball court, a baseball field and lots of picnic tables to enjoy a picnic. The playground equipment looks good, but a little weathered. It would be very hot when the sun is out, since there are no trees covering the equipment. There is a great tree that shades the bench were parents sit. Lots of open ground to run and play. The ground is a little sloped, but unless you need a perfectly level area, you should be good to go. My daughter was upset because there were no swings to play on at Mynatt Park. (We learned there are very few swings in Gatlinburg that are accessible to travelers.)
  • A wonderful place to relax after a day of walking the Gatlinburg strip. This is a recreational park (mostly ballfields) with decent restroom facilities (similar to other outdoor venue facilities). Plenty of picnic tables, and our favorite part...the cool, clear mountain stream. I also highly recommend the drive through scenic Roaring Fork; the entry is just down the road from Mynatt Park.
