  • Given that this store is located in an old mill, we expected a large antique and craft store with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. What it is: a very tiny one room store with a couple of antique...  more »
  • We love the old charm of this place not to mention to scenic loop it is on. We saw a few bears while driving on Roaring Fork Road. Enjoyed reading the history on Ely, loved the old truck and old build...  more »

  • It was an amazing experience. Our family got to see weaving, making yarn and woodworking all done first hand. They were very friendly and took time to answer all of the questions my children asked. Beautiful place and wonderful people.
  • This is one of the most interesting places I visited in and around Gatlinburg. All natural and authentic, the way I remember as a child when visiting my Granpaw who lived in mountains near Sevierville. You can visualize the old mill at the bridge where there are still parts of it today. Ruth, the owner, is more interesting than any tour guide on a paid tour. She loves to entertain the guest and her stories are all free of charge. Worth the stop.
  • What a great little stop. Especially while in search of HONEY!!!!!!!!. Unfortunately for me they were all out. Theres an old feller running a wood lathe like a pro and a lovely lady next to him cranking out scarfs and place mats. Turns out they have cabins you could stay in too.
  • Old fashion, down home goodness. Mostly handcrafted items.
  • Didn't actually go into the store, just used the bathroom. Really clean! Appreciated this after a long drive through the mountains, thanks!
