  • We've been to wineries throughout the US and found Whitecliff to be a disappointment. Seemed understaffed as our hostess was all over the place. Surrounding countryside views were nice but tastings we...  read more »
  • We did three different samplers, as we all like different things. The prices were very reasonable. You can bring a picnic and sit out on the lawn. The view is outstanding and the wine is delicious. I ...  read more »
  • If you haven't been here in a few years, it's worth another trip. They have vastly improved the taste and quality of their wines. They have a new head winemaker and are sourcing grapes from the Finger...  read more »
  • This is the best winemaker in lower NY without considering LI. This is a must-go-to if you're in the Hudson Valley. Been a club member for years and couldn't believe anyone would rate this winery 🍷 below a four. Makes award winning wines in both white and red. Not a one hit wonder winemaker. Don't forget to bring a picnic basket and enjoy the view of the cliffs.
  • I went to the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods and decided to taste their wine. The lady giving samples was ignoring me and letting others ahead of me who were obviously older. Maybe she thought she'd let the elderly people ahead of me because they can afford wine and "I can't" ? Who knows. But when it was finally my turn, she poured the smallest amount possible into a shot glass for me to taste. I don't know whether or not she thought I was under age, but she could have simply asked for my identification instead of being so rude.
  • A large variety of wines (and almost exclusively vegan!!), friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful view and atmosphere, and dog friendly, which is a HUGE bonus.
  • These winemakers are serious and passionate about what they do! Perfect place to go for a tasting. Wines are great, beautiful setting, and very knowledgeable staff. Hudson Valley treasure!
  • Bad winery. The people are rude and not interested in talking to you about their wine. You HAVE to ask them question and TRY to get some sort of a story, to feel the atmosphere, but all they do just answer your questions with a rude and snobbish attitude. There is no love in the wines their are making. Also I was there with my father, and they took him seriously while being absolutely ignorant towards me.
