  • A good time for history loving people. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful and the gift shop had very reasonably priced items. Both the submarine and ship were open for exploration and were fun to go through. In addition, there is a small memorial park dedicated to the Navy ships and sailors lost during WWII.
  • No nice comfortable rest room. The portable rest room are not well maintained. The park is a nice place to visit and have ample parking area. It is good for family outing on one week. Everyone in the family will enjoy visiting it.
  • Two attractions there plus picnicking areas. And a playground. The submarine and the ship were very interesting to see. Groups can have sleep overs on either vessel. Great for church or boy scout outings .
  • Ship and submarine are interesting to visit, also the park and playground are nice and well maintained. We had great time with kids. But the restrooms at the site aren't the best part of a park. I wish they would invest in better ones. I also somehow liked the old building at the end of a peninsula, it's like a heritage and I hope it will be preserved. Though, at the moment it looks more it will collapse.
  • Decided to visit on a whim with our two girls, 7 & 10. The kids loved exploring the ships and wanted to go through the submarine twice. Took about 30-45 minutes, we had the place practically to ourselves, and the price was $20 for all four of us - super cheap fun for the whole family. Definitley worth a visit - try to go early as it gets hot in those ships.
