Where to stay in Galveston

When choosing accommodations in Galveston, remember that the closer you stay to the water, the more you are likely to pay. Top prices usually get you a spacious room packed with modern amenities plus sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. You can save a bundle by staying away from the city's popular beachfront. If your home away from home is on wheels, consider one of Galveston's RV parks and resorts.

  • This is an amazing place to bring your kids for the day. You can bring in coolers and pack your own lunches which makes the experience that much better. I do recommend that you wear some sort of swim ...  more »

  • Amazing time here on Memorial Day! Wasn't that crowded and the rides were so fun! Renting a locker was very easy and great to access. Stopped in the heated pool with a bar for a few drinks and it was great, the workers were wonderful and entertaining. Loved the lazy river and the Torrent. Free parking was not far from the entrance and they have security in the parking lot so that made me feel safe for my first time there.
  • Don't waste your money! Had some good slides but it's not even close to what you pay for. Should be half the price. The setup is very confusing and hard to find where the lines and slides are but don't expect the staff to be helpful. Better off asking another guest. 80% of the employees are not friendly or helpful and just plain rude! Had an attitude with me just for asking where something is. All claim they don't know...pathetic! It's your job to know. Will never go again
  • Warning to wheelchair users. It is not as accessible as the website makes it out to be. The website said to contact guest services to be able to ride some of the tower rides. When we got here they had a plastic PVC wheelchair with no foot rest and told me that there isn't a way to get on any of the tower rides. Wish I would have known before buying my tickets online but at least the kids had a great time.
  • Lots of fun. RR are clean and tidy. Plenty of different things to do. Down side is it's very expensive for tickets. I personally wouldn't pay that price to go, however God blessed us with a friend who had free tickets and shared them with us.
  • I am so happy after visiting here, and I want to go back.. It was worth price, but staff can be rude. I love the wave pool and think that is the best attraction there! I recommend to all ages, but staff is not friendly..
