  • This place is ideal for tourists, full of that curious mysticism which provides a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster and mechanical and games on a pier attractions. There are several options for the visit, a pass only to walk that costs about 6 dll, where you can spend, see the shops, see music, which at the time that we went was live and had a completely family atmosphere, without complications, and only to enjoy the cool of a sunset with snow, a beer, a drink fresh or already drawing some of the food that offers dock. If you have children, prepares the portfolio for that climb to attractions will cost about 5 dollars per person or spend a little more at the entrance to purchase an attractions pass. One of the advantages of the dock is that it is close to all the nightlife, there are lots of people walking in the surroundings and lots of things to see or do. I had the advantage of visiting galveston using my car, however this is also a disadvantage, because parking there is to find a place, which usually is very far, or pay an estacionometro, the problem is that to use it you have to download an application, pay a credit with a credit card and so use it, in addition even those places of pay are far. Either way the walk to the sunset worth. A visit here is memorable, and what can be seen in the photos, is merely a fragment of light, color and the magic of the dock during the night.

  • We took our kids (ages 12, 9 and 5) to the Pleasure Pier for the day. Although we live locally, we had never been before. We debated whether to go to Pleasure Pier or Kemah Boardwalk. At first we were...  more »

  • Such a great place to spend the day and make some memories! It is expensive so be prepared to spend some cash. I would suggest getting the unlimited ride pass. Its good for all the rides and if I remember correctly also covers the cost to get on the pier.
  • Place is amazing, the rides are fun and usually the lines aren't to long. The prices aren't bad either the unlimited band is $26 all in all I would definitely recommend going here. The only problem I have is their loose items must be taken off I had to take off my prescription glasses, it's for every ride no exception on how small the ride. No amusement park I've ever been to has this rule. It's also the only reason I can't give them a perfect score that rule really hurt my experience because when I went on the really high swings to look around I can't see very well without my glasses.
  • It was nice. Cost $10 just to walk in the place, but if you are going to ride some rides you are in for a treat. Pretty cool area and nice experience. Would recommend especially for kids
  • Pretty good fun for the kids, some thrilling rides. Not too big in size of overall length of pier, which limits number of attractions it can provide. But we'll worth a visit for families while in Galveston.
  • Really fun but they do make you take off glasses before all rides. This place is a real gem on the Seawall. I'd recommend it for date nights for the under 40 crowd or young at heart. Also a must for folks with kids. I wanted to give them 5 stars but the glasses thing really felt like I brought my mom along. (No offense mom)
