  • Using a Groupon it was very affordable for family of 4. My daughter is petite and couldn't ride some of the rides but there was enough that she could ride to make it worth it. The lines were short but...  more »

  • Come one, come all!!! Great place to be with family, friends, and loved ones. Get the all day pass and ride some roller coaster take a break and take a quick dip in the ocean then get right back on! Places with cold beer right when you walk in and a great scenery especially once sunset hits! Have a great time and enjoy the ride!
  • I can't believe we had not come here sooner! I have two teen girls and they had a blast For the first time we came to an amusement park and we all enjoyed it. The park felt safe there is security personnel all through the park. What we really liked is that the park is perfect size not so big that you walk around all day. But you still have enough rides for kids of all ages to enjoy. My husband and I sat in the rocking chairs looking to the ocean. My husband enjoyed the bar where they had beer and frozen margaritas. I bought the bucket of popcorn and the souvenir cup which you can get as many refills as you want for .99 each, it was a great bargain. The girls got to ride all the rides they liked as many times as they wanted because the lines were not ridiculous like other parks we've been to. Just so you'll know there is some type of dress code, we saw security telling a young lady about zipping up her shorts. My husband always carries a small pocket knife and he was asked to either trow it away or go leave it in the car. The bracelet allows you to ride all day. We had dinner across the street and on our way back into the park security asked my daughter in a very rude way to throw away her water that she couldn't bring it in the park. But we were not going to let that ruin our fun day. Overall great experience and the view at night is amazing. We will definitely be back!
  • Never over-crowded. Short lines. Decent food and snacks. Amusement park prices, but still reasonable. Very fun and plenty of space to relax.
  • Great value for an amusement park. I loved the roller coaster and the log ride. The best part is being on the ocean and the wind blowing so it's not like you're going to stand in line and melt from the heat.
  • This family friendly place is one of a kind!!! It is new the rides are well maintained. They are safe. I recommend the water log ride. It is 7$ to enter, but more for an arm band to ride. You can easily spend a day on the pier. Wednesdays are discounted and it is a fee to park. Plan ahead and spend the day.

Where to stay in Galveston

When choosing accommodations in Galveston, remember that the closer you stay to the water, the more you are likely to pay. Top prices usually get you a spacious room packed with modern amenities plus sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. You can save a bundle by staying away from the city's popular beachfront. If your home away from home is on wheels, consider one of Galveston's RV parks and resorts.
