  • Did the tasting at the vineyard (not the downtown storefront) and it was great. Very informative and lively staff. Tasty wines. Worth the short drive out of Galena.
  • We have been fans of their wine for quite awhile. However, we have never visited the winery. On a busy Saturday afternoon plan to spend time waiting to get to the bar to sample. All of their wines are...  more »
  • My husband and I went to Galena Cellars for a wine tasting. After standing at the counter for almost 10 minutes with multiple staff looking right at us, and not even a "hi" or "be right with you" was ...  more »

  • I was out at the wineyard earier this summer and had a wonderful peach slush. I was looking forward to having another in a few days but I have been told that the slush machine does not make slush anymore! Please post it if this statement is true or not. I love the scenery when I can have a slush to keep me cool.
  • My husband and I visited the vineyard for a group tour and wine tasting. The tasting was only an extra $2.50 and we each got to try 6 different wines. I'm no wine connoisseur, but they were pretty tasty in my opinion. The other good thing about the vineyard was its location. It was gorgeous and had a beautiful view of the valleys below. I rated the vineyard with 3 out of 5 stars because the tour was basically a complete waste of time (the guide didn't know any answers to questions people asked), started late (by about 20 minutes), and provided no interesting information. I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt a little tricked by the tour guide, too. Just before the tour she asked us as a group if we wanted wine slushies. It definitely sounded like they were provided as a courtesy, until she charged us all an extra $5 for them. They tasted like they had barely any wine and were probably only about 6 ounces of slushy, which isn't a lot when you consider that most of it was ice. Afterward, we tried to buy a few bottles of wine and had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us at the counter. They were busy, but to me that's pretty unacceptable. All in all, I'm wish we hadn't gone. There are better things to do.
  • We've visited a couple times in person and really like their wines. They deliver super fast too! I ordered some for xmas yesterday and received it in less than 24 hours.
  • Nice winery!
  • Great scenery, dog friendly too
