  • A inspirational setting not just for someone out for a sophisticated grape juice, but the views, the natural stone construction, it puts the 'pursuit of happiness', constitutionally into 'happy hours'. I think the grapes have noticed as well, and their smooth allure begs you to enjoy them as much as they enjoy your enjoyment. You may think this is over the top, but glasses are never more than half-full..carefully.
  • This place was like a walk in the clouds. The scenery alone is mesmerizing. The wines are delectable…fragrant, smooth, filling your senses with delicious memories. They have everything from a light white (silver medal winner) to a heavier full-bodied cabernet aged to perfection. The cheese and fresh baked bread trays they offer (hot from the oven) are delightful enhancing the flavors of the wine. We have stayed in the guest house, which is luxurious, and we have stayed in the cottage behind the guest house, which is just as nice offering a kitchenette. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating to our every need and even entertained us with his wit and charm and a little history of Mt. Vale. This place is so romantic, and such an enjoyable stay, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We plan to return as many times as possible. I would recommend Mt. Vale Vineyards to all.
