The Western Slope Vietnam War Memorial Park's Field of Dreams is a non-profit corporation. Located in beautiful Fruita, Colorado,

It is a great place to visit and honor the fallen and veterans. The founder is Jim Doody. Who persued this dream to Honor his brother who was lost in the war. Now the park honors many. Any one can donate to the memorial or purchase a brick with a name for the wall.

The WSVWMP features a display of UH-1H Huey Helicopter. The Huey is the symbol of the Vietnam era. All Military branches used the Huey, and all branches are represented at the memorial.

  • You can see the Memorial as you drive by as it has a Vietnam era UH-1 Huey proudly displayed on a stand above the memorial. Nice place to pay ones respects. Stop by, its worth the time  more »
