  • Did not take the tour - too expensive - but the shop was interesting - A ticket costs $20. I don't begrudge the $20 - but it was too expensive for me at this time. I did look around at the shop and to...  more »
  • We took small kids and it was small enough to not have them overly tired. The fact that not as many people go to this one compared to the other one is also good with little kids.
  • One of the best if not THE ACTUAL BEST CAVEs in the area. Skip Lurray and come right here!!! Caves are just as they were found! No hocus Pocus here!

  • It's smaller than some other caverns, but the tour is lovely. Inside, they have colored lighting setups to emphasize different intriguing natural features. There are a couple of natural rivers and small lakes. The tour guides provide a lot of really interesting information about the caverns - definitely listen up. The gift shop is MASSIVE and has a ton of awesome little goodies of all different kinds.
  • The primary justification for visiting Skyline Caverns is to see the Anthodites, assuming that is important to you. They are quite interesting and there are limited opportunities to see them elsewhere. Otherwise, it is pretty much a waste of time and money, as there are relatively few really beautiful and interesting formations. Said another way, comparing Skyline Caverns to Luray Caverns is like comparing a can of Spam to filet mignon.
  • Simply beautiful. Wonderful tour. Brooke has been a great tour guide.
  • Very beautiful carven white humorous guide, it's really a wonder of the god! The ticket for adult is $20 each and the tour takes about an hour to finish. There are also a lot of nice restaurants around this place.
  • It was amazing and after going there we went on Skyline Drive definitely a must-see
