  • We absolutely love this park. A walking trail starts at the parking lot and leads past two enormous playgrounds, a fully stocked pond, and through a wooded area. The path is concrete and in great shape. Along the way, you can stop off and see the Veterans Memorial. Complete with sculptures, inscriptions, and memorial plaques, there is also a raised area that overlooks the north side of the Commons. As you continue on the paved path, you'll pass a large fully stocked pond with two fountains just before you cross into the woods. At the front of the park, just in front of the parking lot, there are two conjoined playgrounds - one geared more toward toddlers & very young kids, the other for slightly older kids. Both have a ton of well maintained toys & are surrounded by low wood fences so your little one can't wander off too easily. A splash pad (open seasonally, check dates before you go) on the east side of the park includes a covered area with tables & a restroom. There's another restroom on the west side of the park, but none on the far north side, so keep that in mind when you set off for a walk. In the center is a great covered pavillion with more tables. You'll frequently find impromptu fitness classes, dancing, and general good times happening there.
  • Best park in the North Dallas area. It is fenced all the way around the multiple playgrounds so you don't have to worry about your younger kids running off and going somewhere they are not supposed to. You can sit in the entrance area and be able to find your kids in a short amount of time. There is also jogging trails to use and a splash park that is available in the summer months. Definitely worth going to if you are in the Frisco area and want your kids to be able to play outside for a few hours.
  • Open air green space nestled in Frisco. Plenty of walking trails surrounded by plaques dedicated to the history of Frisco, the biodiversity of the area, or to the fallen soldiers that once called Frisco home. Large pavilion spaces, a splash zone, and a large playground area with plenty of parking make this a must go for any family. There is also a lage, well done Veterans' Memorial in the heart of the park with a large pond as well.
  • This is a really nice park in the heart of Frisco! Went for a Camp Gladiator camp on Saturday morning at 7:30. There are picnic tables, a wonderful pavilion, and a lake for fishing. Also, a playground for the kids.
  • Been visiting this park since I was young. LOVE the remodeling and how beautiful the park is looking. The weekends it's always pack.
