  • If you're stuck in Fresno for some god awful reason and are looking for something to do, go to this zoo. It's surprisingly amazing, especially with the new African exhibit. Every time I go I'm always impressed since it seems like Fresno shouldn't have something this nice. The price is very low too, especially compared to big name zoos like in San Diego. Definitely opt for feeding the giraffes since it's only like 2 bucks but is a lot of fun and makes a great picture. Parking sucks though. Last time I went was on Labor Day weekend and we were gridlocked in the overflow lot for a good 10 or 15 minutes. I'm surprised we even found a spot. The walk from the parking lot to the zoo can be pretty long too.
  • One of the best Zoo's in California, don't miss this one. Compared to the San Diego Zoo the city has a tax measure that helps expand an improve this Zoo. The new African exhibit is awesome. The also have a winged wonders bird show you won't want to miss. Parking can be difficult so get there early.
  • I grew up going to the zoo. It was always a special treat to go see Nosey the elephant. I still miss him. I have grown up, I am now 57 an!d live in Oregon. I love the zoo! I always have and always wil. Thanks to this great zoo no matter where we travel I always want to find the nearest zoo !. All because of the Fresno zoo! P.s. I love storyland too !!!
  • Having grown up in Fresno and since moved away, I can honestly say this is one of the best zoos in California. Their dedication to making larger and more efficient habitats for the animals has created an experience you will never forget!! Sea Lion Cove is gorgeous, and The African Adventure exhibit is just amazing!!! So proud that the citizens of my hometown and the efforts of Measure Z only continue to make this zoo more amazing!!
  • The new expansion is breathtaking and the zoo employees were very entertaining and knowledgeable. There is literally something for everyone of any age! Wonderful family fun and massive pokestops!
