  • A nice lake with a good view. The Parking space is large. I have never seen it becoming full. While driving in you have to pay an amount for sure. This is a great place to do your morning walks or evening runs. The trail mostly goes goes around the lake. There are multiple picnic spots here and people often come here to fish and spend a few hours with their loved ones. There is a restroom here as well and a drinking water fountain.
  • Nice park to spend few hours with family. $5 entry free / car. Plenty of car parking space available, and lots of picnic tables.
  • Great place. Life is everywhere you just have to take an break and appreciate it this is a beautiful place I love it a lot it's great for walking swimming boating. Eating go there everyday wonderful place. Makes me want to become a nature guy
  • There are flat gravel trails all around the many lakes inside the recreation area. There's also the Alameda Creek trail that runs parallel to Paseo Padre. Although it's always great fun in the summer, you should also visit if you enjoy the color of Fall. Best to come on a sunny day when the weather is chilly. There are almost no bikers or pedestrians on the weekends in November. You'd feel like you have the whole place to yourself sometimes. Tip: Park in the small lot right off of Isherwood Way off of Paseo Padre or somewhere in the residential area for FREE. If you drive to Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area following Google Maps, you will have to pay for parking.
  • Nice regional park with all access fishing dock, boat ramp, swimming beach and picnic areas w/BBQs. Ample parking. There is a fee in the summer to park, but not off season.
