  • We love Quarry Lakes for the beautiful walks. Great scenery, and nice trails. We enter at the Niles gate and walk for an hour or so. Last time a fox ran out from the bushes and crossed our path! The b...  more »

  • I did come service here with a group where we removed some invasive species. Then we got to walk around the park. It's absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. There are some fresh fruit trees around the property. The trails and park in general are very clean, so make sure you help keep it that way. Great place to do a little geocaching as well.
  • Best thing about this lake is that I never seen the water muddy even in rainy days. I got an inflatable boat to paddle around and get to the honey hole now that the water level is too high. Great wide property to run , swim area , picnic tables , fishing dock , fish cleaning station and bathrooms. If you fishing use steel sinker or lead free sinkers. You can equally switch your lead sinkers at the gate booth on arrival depending on supply.
  • Ok for walks but too much goose dodoo buy the water. Good picnic areas for large gatherings available
  • I come to Quarry Lakes to fish for trout and catfish. I've been successful shore and pier fishing. Other areas around the lake are good for fishing as well but requires a lot of walking. Restrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking. Parking and fishing requires a mandatory $5.00 fee. Fishing fee goes to stocking of trout and catfish. Stocked trout comes in two varieties: DFGs are smaller trouts that fight hard when caught and Lassens are larger trout hybrids with salmon color meat. Both are fun to catch. There are a lot of paved paths to walk, jog and run on. Dogs are allowed leashed for a fee. Smaller water crafts powered manually or with electric trolling motors can be launched for a fee and requires inspection. Overall, it's a nice lake.
  • Beautiful park with lots of trails to take. The Fremont Bart station is nearby so, you can enjoy watching train passing by.
