  • We go to the farm almost every week. They have fun activities (for kids and adults) on the weekend and a toddler time two Wednesdays a month (check the EBRPD calendar for listing of events). You can learn about the animals on the farm, feed some animals, and touch some animals. I love sitting under a tree while the chickens free range around me, wandering around exploring the grounds, and checking out the original buildings and equipment. The train runs some days, which my kid loves to go on. The employees are very nice and good with kids. Like I said, we go there almost every week.
  • Ardenwood is a great place to go if you want to be outdoors, do a little bit of walking/hiking(no hills) and see some historic monuments. They have house tours often, a train tour around the farm, and seasonal events happening practically every weekend. Best part is the food that they grow there, they sell at the farmers market in Newark/Fremont. Love love love their fresh picked fruits. Also this is a great place to go for the pumpkin patch during the fall season. Highly recommend going here on any sunny weekend. Only complaint is how small the parking lot is.
  • An absolutely wonderful and beautiful place! Went here when I was a kid and I got married here! Always worth a visit!
  • Economical day trip location, children will enjoy it. Many farm animals and feeding opportunities.
  • Was at this location for a Scottish Festival. Really nice location. It is a working farm with historical buildings.
