  • Great atmosphere but terrible wine, 2/5. No flavor and some of their wines smell and taste like beer.  more »
  • I loved this place! Several pretty good wines, and the staff was very fun! Also, they have live music, so it seems like a nice place to hang out.  more »
  • Visited this winery and the first impression of the tasting room was very nice. However, after sampling all the reds available each one of them had a vinegar taste (sour) and were undrinkable. Absolut...  more »

  • We came here on a Monday ... ready to experience some more of the ambiance of Fredericksburg wineries. The interior was a beautiful stone lodge decorated for the holidays. They had a fireplace in front of some comfortable leather cowhide seating area. We asked the wine keep if we could have a fire in the fireplace and he said he hadn’t cleaned out the ashes so probably wasn’t going to start one. He was just on his phone behind the bar and we were the only ones there so you would have thought this would have been standard procedure preparing for the day. He was kind enough to let us have a taste of a couple of wines before ordering a glass. After tasting all of the reds from the 2015 crop, the first tip off was the distinct aroma, which was strange, unusual and somewhat fermented. As we took our first swallows anticipating the hints of blackberry and spice we were greeted with a distinct aftertaste of a young vinegar. Although we are certainly not wine snobs by any means, in the end analysis we would have to describe the wine offerings as undrinkable.
  • Popped in this weekend, late in the day, and enjoyed a good selection of their wines while we enjoyed the live music. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable, and encouraged us to celebrate their anniversary with cake! TdP also allows for you to bring your own picnic, which is awesome.
  • Best vineyard ever. They let us have the run of the property and encouraged us to eat the grapes off the vine! They offer a great military discount, free tastings, and a private tour. A magical experience. Of all the vineyards in Fredericksburg, this one is hands down the best!!
  • Place is beatiful but the wines are not that good for my taste. Still nice atmosphere!
  • The service is great. Aaron is AWESOME. Wine is good, but the Bellini was amazing. Would definitely go back.
