#7 of 13 in Wineries in Fredericksburg
In 2011 Messina Hof Hill Country Winery opened its doors in Fredericksburg, the second largest wine tourism destination in the country. Sitting on nearly 10 acres in the heart of Texas wine country along Highway 290, this winery also has its own vineyard. The Lenoir grapes grown at this location go into the making of more traditional style ports.

Messina Hof Hill Country also offers lodging at the Manor Haus B&B.

Do the wine and pie pairing it is amazing. You get to try wines not on the traditional tasting menu and the staff member pairs the wines with the pie perfectly. Very knowledgeable, great experience.

We stopped in on a Wednesday at about 2 pm. We had the tasting room totally to ourselves. Melissa was great with her wine recommendations and made sure our trio had a good time. She even gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay in Fredericksberg! Great wine and beautiful atmosphere!

Came in for a wine tasting, our first, and wasn't disappointed. Choose five wines for 10$ from a list of 50! We loved that our wine-tender explained each choice and made suggestions based on our preferences. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Wines were fantastic.Great outdoor seating. Even got to enjoy a wedding while we were there :) definitely recommend.
