  • This municipal park is on the edge of town in Fredericksburg. It appeared to be a work in progress. There was an area for travel trailers and there seemed to be a lack of directions to the park itself...  more »

  • This is a really nice park. There's lots of ducks and geese. You can feed them wheat bread and pop corn. They love it.
  • I go here alot. This is a great place to walk, picnic, hike around park or on nature trails, golf, swim ( large public pool in season), kayaking( I use a sit in and have only seen others use the same type) canoe and fishing on the reservoir and taking photographs. It's close to town (about 5 mi) and easy to get to a great place to spend the day. They do have a camp ground there (I have never spent night there but have heard it's nice).
  • Very clean park. Nice nature trail and very close to the downtown area. Wi-Fi is intermittent and there is free cable. Some of the sites are pretty tight so be careful of low hanging branches.
  • Good park with beautiful view by the river. But the picnic areas doesn't have grilling facilities.
  • Quiet and peaceful with easy access, lots of space, level sites, and great rates. They also have a golf course, hiking trails, and plenty of room to roam.
