  • I believe this winery is relatively new to the Texas Hill Country. The inside of the winery is quite stylish. Their wine tasting choices are less than most local wineries, but I found the wines I samp...  more »

  • HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Hilmy was by far the best winery in the area. It was so sad we went here first because we were very let down by the others we went to after. The wine was the best, you could taste how natural and without chemicals the wines were. Every other place tasted like plastic or chemicals. The staff and environment of Hilmy was just perfect. It was very personal and cozy. Definitely coming back!
  • A relaxing winery with an expansive view of the vineyards under a very welcomed covered patio. Their wine were either a hit or miss with me during my flight tasting, but I remember leaving here thoroughly enjoying the experience despite our server's lack of knowledge on their wine (it was only her 2nd day on the job). There was another thing I'll remember about this tasting room and that's the very noticeable pair of great white Pyrenees that roam around seeking petting from guests and AC from the heat. Bella and Simon are two of the most gentle dogs you'll ever meet and I may have spent way more time with them than the wine so sorry if my review can't shed a light on their wine.
  • A very neat winery with a different feel than a lot of the bigger places on 290. You might not love all their wine, but I promise you'll find it interesting. The covered porch area is a fantastic place to hang out and enjoy a glass while you talk, read, or play a board game.
  • The staff was nice, the outdoor seating was cooled by a misting system that cut the Texas heat & the wine was good.
  • Yesterday was my first Hilmy Wine p/u and it was great! The Wines were great the music and employees were top notch. I enjoyed the event. I can't wait till the next one. The barrel tasting was excellent and I think the members should vote on the label for the bottle.
