  • I wish I had something nice to say about the wine. The staff are nice. Tastings are $10 and you get to keep a souvenir glass.  more »

  • Visited Fredericksburg for the first time a few weeks ago with my husband and had an awesome experience. The gentleman that helped us was very genuine and knowledgeable. I appreciated his humor since I am not an avid wine connoisseur. Honestly, I usually only go for white wines and ended up walking out with two reds and a rose after the tasting. We were not even planning on going into the winery until a woman walked out recommending the Christmas wine she and her mother stock up on every year. Overall, I am glad I did not let the reviews sway me! I will be returning for more wine!
  • Friendly, and helpful staff. The owner and his wife were both very polite and since I just turned 21, they taught me a lot about wine. Got to try 6 wines plus take home a wine glass for only $10. Taking home 3 bottles, and definitely going back if I am ever in Texas again.
  • Don't miss this gem on your wine adventure. The wines are wonderful. They have a warm Christmas wine that tastes like a winter wonderland in Texas. If Santa was real and drank wine, this would be his drink of choice! We had Jack help us with our tasting and let me tell ya, he is the best! He is super knowledgeable and funny. Can't wait to come back to drink more wine and visit with the amazing staff.
  • I had a great time today tasting wines. The service was awesome and so was the wine that I pick. I will definitely come back here again next time in town. Thank you.
  • The Dry Gewurztraminer is the only bottle I purchased from Fredericksburg Winery while passing through in November and is the first bottle of wine I have ever had to dump out due to what I would call a really disappointing and overpriced wine. It has a gewurztraminer flavor, but neither my wife nor I could finish a glass. In the future, I'd pay the money to buy a glass and sample taste test a variety of offerings and then decide if any are worth the high prices.
