  • THE BEST flea market in Central Texas. Amazing variety of antiques, treasures, junk and colorful characters. And they have great food and cold beverages to help maintain energy and beat the heat. Well worth a trip just for the spectacle.
  • Fredericksburg Trade Days is a great way to pass a good part of a day. There are SO many vendors with a great variety of goods: everything from antiques to plants to to clothing to imports to oddities to finely hand crafted jewelry (I particularly love booth 306 in barn 3... Texas Collective Market Bolga Baskets and Aurora Joleen Designs Silver Jewelry & Painting). There are also plenty of food truck vendors and a fun indoor/outdoor bar with live music that is very family friendly. Access to most booths is decent. Even on a rainy day, you could spend lots of time browsing the indoor barns.
  • This place is actually an old turkey farm, converted into a monthly antiques fair. The place consists of seven turkey barns and a veritable shanty-town full of food, junk, antiques, metal-work, and just about anything else you can imagine. It also covers about 13 acres, so you need to be prepared to do some walking to check it all out. For all that, you can find stuff in among this eclectic selection of traders, you're not likely to find anywhere else. Pro-Tip: Trade Days is open three days a month, always Fri/Sat/Sun. Saturdays are almost invariably insanely busy, and by Sunday most of the truly great bargains have been sold. For my money the best day to come check this out is the Friday.
  • WHAT A DUMP! This is a big fat dump. The bathroom was dirty and had hair that belonged to someone before us. The couch stinks. The whole place is a royal DUMP! The walls a paper thin. Every car in the parking lot sounds like its in the living room. Did I mention the word DUMP!
  • Great place to Shop for unusual things.
