  • A good place to stop and learn about Civil War history. We met a fantastic NPS ranger named Gary when we arrived. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything.
  • Great park, tons of history, VERY knowledgeable staff and lots of programs throughout the year. Don't forget about the trails located on all the battlefields, they take you deeper into the history and immerse you in your surroundings.
  • Disastrous Defeat of the Union force by the inept leadership that sacrificed young men as cannon fodder. What a shame. Confederates had the high ground. Later at Gettysburg the Union would have the High ground. The vast majority of the Battlefield is now place to residential homes.
  • Very informative and we'll kept! Keep up the good work preserving history!
  • Good for learning about the Civil War.
