Where to stay in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg is well known for its wide array of bed and breakfasts and inns. Those located in the city's historical neighborhoods--particularly those on or near Main Street--sit within walking distance of the city's most popular restaurants, cafes, and bars. If you prefer a more tranquil setting, consider staying on a converted ranch or renting a cabin in the surrounding hills. Fredericksburg also provides a number of hotels and motels, several of which offer swimming pools where you can cool off from the Texas heat.

  • Two of the six wines were undrinkable; tasted funny. Best part of our visit was the cheese selection.  more »

  • My boyfriend and I did a tasting with Lisa and had a great time! Very friendly and informative about different wines they offered and wineries around the area! Definitely will be back because of her
  • Jill was amazing and very knowledgeable about the wines. If you go for atasting, go to Jill! I loved the wines so much that I joined the club.
  • Excellent wine list for tasting. This place was extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon (just a heads up), prices were comparable to all the other cellars/vineyards in the area. I'm excited to try the bottle of port I purchased, only wish they had ports available for tasting.
  • Great wine tasting experience. Wines from 3 different Texas wineries. Nice facility and friendly staff.
  • The Texas wine and cheese pairing was fantastic. It was an educational experience on both wine and cheese, and the opportunity to sample wines from 3 winemakers in one sitting was awesome. In an area saturated by wineries, this experience set apart due to the educational component and the pairings. Incidentally, they do wine and chocolate pairings as well! When we arrived, there was live music and the place was hopping, obviously a popular stop.
