#8 of 13 in Wineries in Fredericksburg
Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
This western-themed winery celebrated its 13th year of producing hand-crafted, award-winning wines on June 1, 2014. The winery, located in the Texas Hill Country approximately 12 miles west of Fredericksburg, Texas, has a large saloon-style tasting room, patios and Texas-friendly staff that invite you to come in, relax and stay awhile. Customers can enjoy beautiful views of the hills and watch the Longhorns, quarter horses, and miniature donkeys lazily graze around the winery. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you can watch Chef Mike prepare gourmet pizzas with only the freshest ingredients in the Oval Oven. In addition, the winery has live music indoors for its Jazz in January, Spring Fling, the winery's Birthday Party, the annual Grape Stomp, and Fall Fun.

  • The drive to the winery was interesting in that there was little sign of wineries being present. We arrived late in the day so we missed the highly reviewed pizza so the comment is just for the wines....  more »
  • Try the sampling of wines, you'll find Ghost Rider is the best. Award winning. Get a Peach Melba if they are serving and add the Ghost Rider. Heaven! Then, pop around the corner of the room and order ...  more »

  • Very great experience overall. The gentleman helping us was very funny and took the time to make our experience one of a kind. The pizza and the wine were also amazing. Definitely recommend.
  • Loved all the wines because they are fruit forward, not sweet. I guess the person that left the review 2 years ago, left their wine in a hot car. Hello, wine like milk will spoil. My wife and I loved the wines so much, we joined the wine club and are anxiously waiting on the current shipment.
  • We had such a great time! Chris was a great wine tour guide. All the wine we had was amazing. Also, we had our 3 dogs with us. Very pet friendly.
  • Glad to have found this fantastic winery just a few minutes from our house. All of the wines are good, and I'm a very picky wine snob. If you get a chance to try the pizza, its excellent as well. Do yourself a favor and make trip to this gem just West of Fredericksburg.
  • This is my new favorite place! Stopped here with my husband while on our honeymoon. We sipped wine and played horse shoes with the beautiful vineyard as our backdrop. The Badass Blush is delicious and the peach winerita is addicting (Bonus: they sell everything you need to make them at home!!!!). Everyone that works there is in a great mood and make the whole wine tasting experience that much better. Didn't get a chance to try their pizza from the pizza oven but it looked and smelled amazing. This place is a must if you are anywhere near Fredricksburg or the surrounding area!
