  • Very interesting museum with an extremely knowledgeable person at the front desk. We received a buy one get one coupon from the visitor center. We learned a lot about medical care during the civil war...  more »
  • We decided to take a day trip to visit the museum because we are interested in medicine and wanted to see what medicine was like during the Civil War . It is mind opening to see the advancements in me...  more »
  • This little museum gives you a good dose of history about the pain and suffering our ancestors endured in the Civil War. Some nice artifacts and displays. The highlight for me were letters from a sold...  more »

  • Pretty good food, though it used to be a lot better in the past. In the last few months the food has seemed to have gone down hill, smaller portions and tastes worse. My previously favorite dish, the thai green curry, has gotten a lot smaller, watterier, and sweeter for example. still pretty good, but not great either.
  • A very cool little museum, very well done by the folks who volunteer.
  • Really well done exhibits. Very affordable entrance fee. Easily spent 2 hours here. Only negative is some of the interactive aspects of the exhibits were not functioning at the time. I dont think this detracted from the visitor experience significantly. Everything else about this museum was A+
  • Very informative. The docent was incredibly helpful and friendly. This is a true gem to have in Frederick.
  • Nice place I really enjoyed how they took the extra step to follow a few people's lives throughout the entire exhibit. I went with a speech pathologist and a nurse administrator they said it was the highlight of their weekend.
