  • Minutes from downtown Frederick, affords great hiking mountain biking and beautiful campsites. Restrooms are clean and it's pet friendly. A little piece of heaven just 20 minutes out of town.

  • Perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset with picturesque mountain views of the Catoctin ridgeline from the Middletown overlook on the High Knob scenic area. Park also features camping and hiking.
  • Good views, for the most part. Made it up the whole mountain and one of the two main lookouts was nothing but tree's. The other view spectacular, the other was too leafy for my taste.
  • Excellent walking trails and overlooks. Connected to the Appalachian Trail. Decent biking paths.
  • Great place. Great trails to hike on. Prior to starting,I suggest read the description so you know what trail works best.
