Colorado Adventure Park Reviews
Our first time snow tubing. Staff was friendly and welcoming. No issues with service but with ourselves, kids forgot their skii masks and it was kinda windy so we couldn’t last long enough due to that... more »
Fantastic! So much fun! It was everything we hoped it would be. Very little regulation so the lines move quite quickly. We kept looking over to the slides next to ours and those people had too much co... more »
We will be back! Not super packed, and the hills were amazingly fun. Our 4 and 7 year old loved it as much as we did! more »
Not to the level I expected. Check in, welcomes everything went well. They need to get the staff on snow mobile and stuff little more friendly. I was there for fun. Not to be snow mobile professional. The guide, he may be professional and good at it. That is his living. He has to help me to enjoy my ride. He sounded like ... people lose confidence.
Loved snow tubing here. Only negatives where the wait and the weather. Show up early, it takes an hour and a half or so to stand through the sign up line. Make sure the wind isn't going to be too crazy the day you want to go. It was blowing people's tubes across the snow to the fence and ripping people off their feet. Fun for us but not so much for small kids. Very much at your own risk, but a blast if you're cool with it
Funny how we planned to go to Fraser tubing but ended up here thinking it's the same place. Fraser has been the name of tubing in this area but this place opened up next door. The signs that shows tubing is bigger so for tourists it can be confusing. I'm not going to make this a Fraser tubing versus this place review since I never been to Fraser tubing. My family showed up and the staff was friendly even though they can use a few smiles. Everyone in my group had tons of fun even though a big wind storm came and made it horrible. Once we were done the hot chocolate was on point. There wasn't any complaints expect it didn't feel like an hour before someone came and ended the fun. We must have showed up at the end of a session. But the weather was turning anyways so it was ok. If you aren't having fun here then your kids aren't outside kinda kids. We will definitely come here again.
Would never go here again. Took the family there last winter. The wind started picking up while we were there and started pushing people on their tubes across the hill. My wife started on one side of the hill, was blown across the hill and hit an exposed vertical water pipe towards the bottom. She flew about five feet up in the air and landed on her back. I went down to check on her and realized there wasn't a single employee monitoring the hill except the lift attendant at the top. From where he sat he couldn't even see most the hill. Luckily my wife was ok, just a little sore and shaken up. I went in an told them they needed to close the hill and just got blank looks. As we were leaving, I looked at the Fraser Tubing Hill, and saw 3 employees at the bottom monitoring the hill and directing people out of the path of other tubers. We went there once before and had a much better and "safer" time. They seem like much more of a family operation and the employees actually seem to care about your safety.
Uplift hill works pretty well, and there are helmets that you can use included in the fee. Once you are ready to go with your snow tube, there is no one to give instructions or to oversee the safety. I saw two employees in a booth at the top of the hill, but they just stayed talking to each other for the hour that we were at the park. If you are looking for a safe experience with the family, probably this won't be the best place for you. Picking up and dropping the tubes did not have any employees to receive them. There are no formal bathrooms; they did have portable restrooms when we visited, but they were close to being full and with kids is a challenge to use them. There is a fire pit with broken chairs, it looks mediocre and is not clean. The parking lot was full of ice, I do not have experience is such weather, but some salt won't hurt. The "Bossman" as he describes himself was less than helpful and enjoys yelling and call it part of his job as well as rudeness.
