  • The Factory is an excellent place for eclectic shops and local food. Each time I got in, there seems to be more to enjoy. I love the farmer's market on Saturday, Honest Coffee and Five Daughters Donuts are a must, and I recently visited Walker Creek Confections and LOVED IT! They have toffee and caramel available to sample as well as many other local Tennessee products for sale.
  • First time here visiting from california! Loved the space and the decor, it literally is an old factory. Nice place to sit and chat and enjoy your food/coffee. Definitely check out five daughters donuts! Hint: There are cream filled! The Poke place looked really good too!
  • Hidden gem would have never know it exists if I hadn't been looking for 5 Daughter s Bakery. Which was delicious btw. 4 stars because the place we did want to go had a girl that wasn't really friendly but that shouldn't bring down the rating for the whole building.
  • Cool, eclectic shops and businesses make for a hip (in a reclaimed-space kind of way) place to browse and window shop. Grab artisan coffee (Honest Coffee Roasters), doughnuts (Five Daughters Bakery), juices (Franklin Juice Co) and several other eateries and restaurants. Also, if you're a fan of art, antiques, and cool guitars this is a great place to stop and spend a few hours. Every Saturday morning (expect in Winter) there is an extensive farmer's market out back. Grab great produce, treats, dairy, meats and food trucks while rubbing elbows with Franklin locals and notables. Cheers!
  • Always fun stuff to do here. Love the Farmers Market! Great restaurants. Try Saffire. It has great food.

Where to stay in Franklin

With its brick buildings and small-town charm, the downtown area remains Franklin's biggest draw, but accommodation options here are limited to just a couple inns and bed and breakfasts. You will, however, find many national-chain hotels in the commercial district around where Murfreesboro Road meets Interstate 65. As an alternative, consider staying on a working farm just outside the town center for a more rustic experience.
