What a great place to go to get educated on the history of Franklin. The volunteers are eager to help in any way they can. They have a decent collection of old Franklin Press newspapers and donated memorabilia to look at. If you really want a look into the past I suggest purchasing the History of Macon County books (Vol. I & II) they have for sale. I also purchased the book 150 years of Franklin, Then and Now. A great pictorial history book.

Staff is knowledgeable. Lots of interesting pieces, pictures, artifacts. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in Macon County history.
