  • This place is huge!!! But it was also very crowded for a weekday night. The food was pretty good and the beer was excellent! The only thing is that they have a weird way of ordering: you go to the bar where there is no clear line and people keep passing before you, you place your beer order and they serve it to you but instead of paying you leave your name, then good luck finding a place to sit down while holding your beer flight, a server will eventually come by and then you can order food by referencing your name for the bill. Once you have server you can order more beer for from her/him. It wasn't an unpleasant experience but kind of unsettling because their procedures weren't clearly established.
  • Very nice place, with all types of beer for you to try, you can order samples so it's easy. Food is amazing and very tasty, you need to try the Braised Pork Shank, very delicious. This is definitely a place to go if you looking for something different. Fair price, good food and awesome beer.
  • My whole family loved their food. Clam and bacon pizza, salads (very generous portions for $5), four-cheese mac& cheese, and a pork shank served over mashed potatoes with leeks and kale with "baby" carrots. All were excellent, and my meal was the shank. It was very tender, smoky and ample for $16. One t thought I had while eating it is that I will have to roast some pork soon. Their dish was simple and elegant. I had read the menu online before going there, and it exceeded what I expected. The mac& cheese waa served in a sizzling skillet and while I thought the portion did not look huge, it more than satisfied my teenaged son, and after my daughter tasted it, she had to have her own. We had eaten at a regional upscale chain the night before and this meal blew it out of the water.
  • Excellent beer hall with outdoor seating and ample indoor space, including a large bar. The beer is great---no surprise there---and there are many choices, but the big surprise in some ways is the food. Which is much better than it needs to be. This is a great place for food + drink.
  • Great, German-style food with an extensive selection of beers, barley wine, and other alcoholic goodies. German beer-hall seating (long, communal tables) creates a fun atmosphere. Staff are prompt and friendly.
